Installing the FABA Kit for Oceania Precision rifles

Please read this product description and install information completely before starting installation or use. Ensure your firearm is clear of all ammunition and is verified as unloaded and your firearm is in safe working condition prior to installation and use. Run a patch through your barrel and muzzle devices before use. Consult a reloading manual for correct and safe load data prior to use. You are responsible for confirming and complying with your state or territory firearms laws and regulations and where appropriate, advising your state or territory firearms authorities prior to any modification. Please refer to your local state or territory firearms/weapons act and regulations.

1. Read these instructions in full TWICE before starting install.

2. Fit Guide Strips
Fit the plastic strips to the foreend of the rifle using hardware provided.
Do not overtighten screws as this can cause guide strips to swell or split.
The screws should be "finger tight" (approx 1.5nm - 15inlbs of torque).
The aim of the screws is to stop the guide strip from freely moving and slopping about.  However, please note, the strips are designed to move slightly under working conditions, you do not want them "completely secure / welded in place".
Some people choose to place a small dot of nail polish (which can be easily removed) or Locktite (which cannot easily be removed) onto the screw during install for extra assurance. This prevents loosening of the screws over time.
For a good fit, ensure screws are light finger tight, and a small amount of glue etc. on the threads and mlok prior to assembly, and let it dry / set when it is in position.

2. Fit handle and spigot/ link bar into rifle.
The upper receiver needs to be open for this to fit into place on the BCG (Bolt Carrier Group).
Close receiver.

3. Fit Foreend
Slide foreend grip onto guide strips. Ensure it slides smoothly, and the guide strips are in location which will always have a good amount covered during cycling when operating.

4. Connect link bar to Foreend
Attach link bar into foreend grip using hardware supplied.

5. Ensure smooth cycling and correct function of your Oceania Precision. Perform usual safety checks before operation.
