Most Remington 700s do not include a threaded bolt knob from the factory (the bolt knob is welded or integrated into the handle). Some rifles have been upgraded to include a thread. If a thread has been cut into the modified handle, you will need to use a thread gauge to determine its size. If your rifle does not have a thread, don't worry! MANAEL has you covered. This bolt knob comes with a weld-ready thread insert so you can modifiy your bolt handle to a standard 5/16x24 thread. For this option, select the standard 5/16x24 knob.
