These rings mount direct into the Remington 700 bolt action short action reciever (a M40 clip slot cut is required). Some fitting may be required depending on your clip slot cut.

Includes fitting hardware.

Fit and finish is outstanding. I bought this for a repo M40a1 I built. I have an original Unertil 10x scope, Canadian C3 (very rare 571 ordered). The mount fit perfectly and well worth the money. Only issue I had was my receiver was drilled for 8-40 screws, which is on me. Great product and much cheaper than the thousands for an original.

Attention to detail best I have seen

I recieved two ICE M40A1 mounts and have to say I am very pleased with them. The machine work and attention to detail are the best I've seen BY FAR. I have an original to compare to... these mounts are just what anyone who has been patiently waiting for to be produced...Delivered. Couldn't be happier.
