Shipping Information

When will my item ship?

Shipping processing time is 1 – 3 days. Courier pickup occurs Tuesday to Friday.

You will receive a tracking number via email shortly after your order is packed for shipping.


What does Custom order / Back order mean and when will my item arrive?

If you added something to cart which was shown as Custom Order/Back Order or Pre-Order, this item is not currently on the shelf.

But we have more on the way and one has been allocated to you.

Individual lead times are displayed on the item listing. 

Note some items can take 6-12 months, usualy for custom parts made in USA where the lead times are crazy! All the more reason to support Australian Made.

If you have any questions about lead times, just give us a call or shoot us an email before raising the order. 


What shipping method do you use? Can I send to PO Box? 

Generally standard shipping is by courier or Australia Post.

Yes, we can ship to a PO box using Australia Post (unless its a serialized part then it must go to a licensed dealer).


How long will shipping take?

Standard shipping - 4-10 days (most areas of Australia). NT and WA can take a few days longer.

Priority / Express - 1-4 days (most areas of Australia). NT and WA can take up to 8 days.

Do you offer Express Shipping or a Priority Service?

You bet! We want you get your hands on this awesome gear as much as you do, so we offer a priority service. Just select the Priority/Express option at checkout.

How much does shipping cost?

A shipping estimate calculator is provided on product pages. The total shipping cost will be displayed during checkout.

Collection from our workshop during business hours is at no cost.

Some special orders/international orders may have additional shipping fees which will be confirmed by us before order is paid.


Do you ship Internationally?

Yes, for most parts. Some items will require an export permit. Contact us and we will quote up shipping and lead times.


My order hasn't arrived yet

We can investigate this with Australia Post or the relevant courier to find out where it is.

But please note, Australia Post will only take action after the estimated shipping time has passed.

Collection, transfer or shipping for serialised components or firearms

Taking posession of firearms or serialised components is in accordance with the SA Firearms Act and Regulations.
By default, all serialised components for sale on our webstore will be marked as For Collection Only and incur a Dealer Record Entry / Transfer fee.
We can ship serialised goods to your preferred local dealer (please contact us to confirm shipping costs).

Goods may be collected from our workshop upon presentation of a valid firearms license and Permit to Acquire form (approved by SA Police), in line with the SA Firearms Act and regulations.  
Ignition Custom Engineering can process electronic permit to acquire forms for SA license holders (fee applies).
Goods can also be held in storage if required (contact us for a quote).
